From joining the UNLV Alumni Association to mentoring a student or volunteering for one of our many groups and programs, there are countless ways to get involved. As part of the university's comprehensive campaign, the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Association have identified the following key priorities:

For both undergraduate and graduate students, privately funded scholarships help UNLV to attract and retain the best students and provide support to students with financial need. The Alumni Association helps students with an average of $110,000 in scholarships each year.

One of the university's goals for the campaign outcome is to involve more alumni in the life of the university. The most fulfilling benefits of joining the UNLV Alumni Association are presented in the intangibles — contributions such as laying the groundwork for the success of future graduates and building lasting relationships at the university and within the community. Plus, $10 from every membership supports scholarship awards.

Although plans will be unveiled as the university approaches its 50th anniversary, alumni can look forward to their participation in the dedication of a formal entrance to UNLV's campus. The corridor into campus at the corner of Harmon and Maryland Parkway will be redesigned to include a paseo, courtyard, and statuary devoted to UNLV graduates' connections to their alma mater.
