To be successful in the changing business environment, tomorrow's business leaders, more than ever before, must be solidly grounded in all functional areas of the foundation for those who seek global career and leadership opportunities. Private support allows the College of Business to address critical needs in the college, including faculty research support, improving technology, and other meaningful programs.
As part of the university's comprehensive campaign, the College of Business has identified the following key fundraising priorities:
Faculty research and professional development support
Support for faculty research; teaching; and curriculum, professional, and administrative development directly affects the diversity and quality our students receive, both inside and outside the classroom.
Undergraduate and graduate student support
Currently, fewer than 2 percent of the students in the College of Business receive business scholarship support. Annual and endowed scholarships, as well as support for organizations, events, and study-abroad programs, will help the college recruit and retain top undergraduate and graduate students.
Building funds
Additional building funds will bring state-of-the-art technology to our classrooms and centers and will provide enhanced facilities for executive education, centers and institutes, presentations, and state-of-the-art technology.
Advising support
Support for the College of Business's advising program provides high-quality academic and personal advising to students as advisors assist students with class scheduling, academic or career goals, and degree information.
The Entrepreneurship Center
This initiative, endowed or supported annually through private support, will advance the college's reputation for excellence and innovation as it provides academic programming for students, research, and a variety of other resources for community businesses in the area of entrepreneurship.
"Invent the Future"
Major support for the college will create endless opportunities for tomorrow's business leaders. In honor of a significant gift, a donor may name the College of Business or endowed faculty chairs, professorships, or scholarships.
